THAT HULL LOOKS LIKE A COPY OF A PANTHER ICE/MARSH MASTER.I HAD ONE AND DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY IT WOULD ROLL IN DEEP WATER.OR THAT IT WOULD NOT TURN LIKE A HMMANT DIAMOND BACK WOULD .IT WOULD SLID OUT OF CONTROL.JMO
Joe, does that come with a trailer? I could bring it down to Iowa for you. In March when I win the red AAOF airboat I could bring it down with me and take the red one home.
Im not saying its worth it, just giving you an idea of what it would cost you. That was also for a lighter, smaller boat. You would probably be in the 1200-1500 dollar range. Finding an individual is definately the way to go.
I have that same style hull and am planning on welding a couple peices of angle alumuinum to each side of the boat right over the second step (bend) of the hull to grab water and hopefully reduce the slide when traveling at higher speeds. just a thought which may change your cheap hull into a righteous handling vessel (or not). good luck!
how far into wisconsin is it? I know someone that hauls and is very reasonable. If it is within a few hours from me I MIGHT be able to make an ice fishing trip out of it and check it out. If you know where there is a 74-76 chevy impala or caprice, or a 71-76 station wagon your haul could become DRASTICALLY cheaper. The more of these cars you find...the cheaper the hauling gets. Im not kidding either. motor/tranny not necessary. Interested in almost any condition.
thanks
