Any members near Brunswick Ga?

Im in Atlanta I have never run much of south Ga or the coast only thing I have run is Lake Seminole, I need to come down there and run with you guys some time
 
I went Deck Over for the coast running. I can't wait to Flounder gig out of this. I also run the Altamaha river here in Jesup. The river is at flood stage but when it drops during the summer only canoe's and kayaks are the only thing out nothing else can go. UNTIL now lol. We go when it's super low and gig trash fish. There's lots of exploring to do at the coast. Be cautious of DNR guys. We've checked with the District folks. They say we can run anywhere there's water, even in the grass but no running dry through the grass. You don't want to run dry anyway the title creeks can be a killer if you don't see it and run off into it.
 
I was wondering what DNR would have to say. I wish mine was a deck over. I worry about sinking it. I was hearing you couldn't run in the grass at all.... Turns out there are a few here in GA.
 
Man y’all’s talk brings back memories. Never ran an airboat there but hunted around Eulonia and Townsend for years in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s.
 
I’ve shot at deer from the post office parking in Townsend back in the day. One of my hunting buddies lived right there also. That was good times! We used to hunt from the interstate to the bombing range.
