ANY ONE HAVE A PROP 4 SALE CADILLAC 500 D/D

I got an 84" Ivo "wide". You adjust pitch by turning one giant bolt in the hub. Cool mechanism. SUPER EASY to change pitch, and it is balanced by the nature of the design.
I'm told you can pitch this prop up to 90 inches of pitch.

84" three blade. Came off a caddy 1.7:1 belt drive. With that much pitch available - it may work for DD but I'm not sure about that.

Of course - I took it off the boat because I did not like it. Kinda hard for me to sell something to another airboater with that thought in mind. It's cheaper than a new composite prop though.

PM me if you want to talk price.

matt.

Yeah Joe - We got a 18 foot party barge - set up for salt water fishing. I gotta say that monster boat handles great on windy days with whitecaps on the lake! We changed the ratio on the belt drive and put a waterwalker wide blade on it. We still have the old boat too - it's just too much fun.

James - this prop pushed that 18' Rivermaster pretty good. I'd take $600 for it. 3 blade adjustable pitch.

If the 84 inch diameter is too much, check with some IVO experts - it kinda looks like a warp drive in design and may be able to be cut down a few inches.

It'll be on ebay for sale soon.... unless you want it.

Mood....Ya been holding out on us...post some pics of the new boat...those tour boats that size will run the hill...reducted Caddi...quantum leap. 18' Rivermaster...Is it SS rigged? Congrats. Hope you moved the horn, too.

mood u r the first person that i have heard of that likes the ivo prop
HAHAHAHA Woody - I don't like the IVO prop! I recognize that it is good for a purpose - and the adjusting mechanism is nifty - but the level that I "like it" is shown in that I've got it leaning against a tree in my yard - and got a water walker superwide on the boat. We changed the pulleys in the belt drive to change it from a 1.77:1 up to a 2:1

The train horn is staying on the little boat FOR NOW. :D We had the ol' Question Mark boat for sale - but decided NOT to sell it because it's just so much fun sliding sideways in the skinny water around our house.

Pics to come soon - Yeah, I've been holding out till we get the bugs worked out. The former owner used it in the Gulf for flats fishing - YES on the stainless rigging! And a foot controlled trolling motor in the front - I'm looking forward to taking my dad fishing! He turns 82 today.

The caddy master Stan has been giving us some advice - just minor bugs to work out. Thanks Stan. I never knew that if you take the thermostat out of a caddy motor, you need to plug the internal bypass under the thermostat! We ended up just running a stock thermostat and was amazed how it brought that motor to life!

Sorry this one's off topic JAMES..... but at least some side conversation keeps your post up top on the list! :) Good luck.

CaddilacMatt....maybe a new screen name. There's a guide working out of Hudson that runs a 18' FreedomCraft direct drive Caddi...it actually runs better than you might expect. Bet that reducted rig will raise some eyebrows before you know it.
