anyone ever used a toyota engine?

was just wondering if a toyota 22r engine could be used to power a 12' boat. horsepower is around 125-150. any info would be great.

I think that toyota motor would work good if you can find a reduction unit for it. it probably won't make enough torque set-up as a direct drive.

go to alltheweb.com type in prop speed reduction unit there are lot's of company's building reduction's for experimental aircraft i've seen them for honda's and geo's so i'm sure somone's doing it for toyota's
