Attention Airboat Racers

I am trying to put together some races but we need participation from other boats. I am located in the central Florida area, but I am willing to travel any reasonable distance for a good race. I have a supercharged 540 race boat built by myself and Bobby Hoffman( my uncle.) I am looking for a place to hold a race and people interested in helping bring the sport of airboat racing back. I come from a long line of airboat racers including my dad Jerry Cypret, my grandpa Dick Hoffman, and my uncle Bobby Hoffman. I am searching for a way to revive my favorite past time. I am more interested in racing than the money involved. That's just not right! LOL Just kidding. :lol: Welcome to the group Jerry.

I am by no means an airboat racer, (unless you win money for coming in last place) But I would LOVE to watch some organized races! Every time I see an impromptu drag I stop what I'm doing to watch. Lots of fun for sure!

So I'll be watching. Any sort of racing needs spectators, right?

Jerry we are working on it. I know we will have one in September. Like I spoke to you about we only need a handful of volunteers that are not racing.

Like waterthunder said, sometime in September I hope. The details are still being worked out. Hopefully we will have something for you in the next month or so but it would be located here in Melbourne right off of I95. So just keep watching.
