Up for auction is a brand new pair of Airfoil rudders (not those cheap fold over things either) These where donated By Hamant Airboats . These rudders are light weight and look really nice!

Local pickup is encouraged but they can be shipped it will just be expensive, I got quotes earlier today on that

I have them listed on Ebay please click this link to Bid

Whats up with those shipping costs???

Thats ridiculous

I have had rudders shipped from Florida to Louisiana...total bill less than shipping costs you have listed.

Just wondering whats up with that?

they recently changed the shipping stuff on bulky items and that price included having them package and wrapped to protect them form being damaged, but yes I agree it is high and figure it would be someone in fl who buys them and could pick up at some point.

I had BBC cast iron heads, Oklahoma to Canada for much less than that! Try USPS ground or UPS ground. Rotator gear box was only $80.00 Florida to Canada.

Prices where checked at dhl, ups, fedex

a gear box is much smaller item they charge by weight and by size if you figure these things at 50" tall and 25" wide and 5" thick then a few wraps of bubble wrap you talking about a box that is 14-15" thick by 54" long and 29 inches wide

If ya'll think I should remove the option to ship them and make it a pick up item only that is fine to

   not to stick my nose in it but something is definetly wrong with that shipping cost. Considering the shipping cost is almost the price of a new set of rudders from any airboat store. It'll definetly deter some bidders and I think your right make it local pick up only. The few rudders I have seen on ebay including the ones I bought off ebay were set up that way.

Hey goldhunter I put in the first bid in. would these work good on my mini. What do you think? Thanks Josh Plus if I win them I could come check cajuns boat out

again that is packaging and all and if they where thin fold over foam filled it would have less .

It always seems to open more bidders by offering shipping even on larger items , but if there are no bids when I get back tonight I will change it to local pick up only since that seems to be the general idea.................. or if anyone else would like to take responsibility for selling and boxing insuring and shipping them let me know

Don't worry about the boxes for them things....
Just throw each rudder in one of Brewster's tube socks, and put a 14" ty-wrap on the top.

That aughtta hold it.

Ya got a couple of bids now!
Took me a while to register and figure out how to participate :)

You might check with Grant's shipping. I used them for the headers I bought.
They showed up in Plant city faster than I could gas up and drive down to get em.

Cowboy,
ya I should have thought of Brewsters tube sock but it slipped my mind............... now witch one of us gets to wrap them in it

Bowt,
Yep if grant's hand deliver service can swing by for the winning bidder and drop them off that would be great , offer to be able to ship was intend to help the guys out in az or utah or something like that if they wanted them

Grant,
yep just got back quicker then expected and went to change but there is already 11 bids and I can't remove the offer to ship now. it should not deter any bidders once they read that is is a option and they can pickup , offering to ship was intended to help out of state bidders I never figured anyone form Fl would want a larger item shipped

I heard a Rumor the high bidder has a all PVC boat he wants to put these on :D ya'll have to get to bidding we just can't have that so someone head over to the ebay link and out bid this person!
