Gator - Is Badcock ranch the one north of big O town . Years ago I day hunted , the guys had black trucks ,cadillacs,helicopers. Haven,t been there in years. got to the same place,I knew river ran threw it . Just wondering my memory its not the best .thanks

Babcock Ranch goes through three counties, (Lee at the south, Charolette and another to the north). East of I-75, very large with much hunting and of-roading and airboating to be done if the state doesn't close it down for a "environmental study" which they did here in Collier county with the Picyune Strand which we all enjoyed here for decades. (Permantly closed to all ATV,off-road, airboating now for the "Save the Everglades").
It wouldn't suprise me at all if Babcock will join in all our state lands as part of the "Save the Everglades" which our tax dollars pay for. (Yet let's drill a few wells out there to water the new golf courses)!
Too much land that our tax dollars pay for and we aren't allowed the traditional airboat/off-roading uses as initially promised!
Fed up with politicians telling lies!

Cracker - Been reading the watch stuff they are pretty active around the bay , They kept some boat ramps open here . Around here boat ramps are closing for grass restore !Once they close them they never open up again .They are begining to see air boats eco -friendly .But a airboat needs, no boat ramp. more no in the water props zones A plus in my book.
