Bang Stick Harpoons

I have seen a set of bang sticks with harpoon head on them. The fellow used .30 blanks and had a set of machined harpoon heads for them with a cable attachment to keep from losing the alligator. Claimed it would go through the head of a 9 footer. Would love to get something like that. Is this something that any of you gator hunters have seen?

I have his number somewhere, but yikes that would take some digging to find it.
