I have some sort of non-skid tape on mine. It's whatever Hamant puts on the boat I guess. It does it's job ok....I haven't slipped...yet

I have never put anything on the top of my boats.

The seismic boats I ran all had non slip tape on the decks and non skid paint on the floor boards.

Bed liner is slick, IMHO, it would be very dangerous on the decks. It is also HEAVY! I use it on cusatom gun stocks but not on boats.

My new boat doesnt have anything on its decks and I have no plan to add anything. I gues we can guage the need by the bandaids I end up with.

Sherwin Williams sell some roll on stuff that works pretty good but I would stay away from Spray on Truck Liner.

3m Tape works goods

I put Rhino Liner on my fulldeck and I love it. I see alot more people doing it now. It cost me 399.00.
But , my neighbor just went and bought Hurcaliner from Napa and we just put it on his boat 2 weeks ago ... It was a breeze and it cam out real nice. I think it was 80.00 or something.

The line-x has a really good non-slip surface and the finish looks great.

One of the Rhino dealers around here does a lot of equipment with the stuff.
That product is durable and holds up pretty well also.

I put Rhino Liner on a few boats an was not happy w/ the end result. Also depends on your use. I have seen the Rhino Peel and lift up when installed by a pro. Also some Spray Liners become slick if certain things are put on them.

3M Tape is good but seems temporary. Probably wont last too many years. Spray on Epoxy Non Skid that the Airboat Builders do will hold up the longest with the best end result. IMO.

Use slick bottom and mix mortor sand and just roll it on,, you can then just paint it whatever color you want,, sand surface with 80 grit. smear it on smooth and even the use a loop roller the lightly go over it,, it will outlast the boat.

Put the roll on Hippo Liner on my last hull, peeled off in a couple of places but that was from running into stuff. Painted the new hull and threw sand on it wet and did about 4 coats came out BEAUTIFUL. you have to take the time to prep it. The more time you spend on prep-the longer it will last.
Just my 2 cents on this one.

Just did mine with gel-coat and added lots of grip sand made to go with it. It was pretty hard work but it has good grip, I've also seen small gravel added to gel-coat in curved corner areas for extra traction.

My friend has bed liner spray on the top of his Scorpion. Works out fine. It has traction particles in it.
