Bendix Scintilla SF6LN-8 timing

Currently running a lycoming 0-435-1 with the Bendix Scintilla SF6LN-8. Was wondering if anyone out there has any kind of info on how to properly time these kind of mags or possibly has access to a manual that talks about it. Any sort of info would be greatly appreciate! IMG_4215.jpeg

Look on your flywheel opposite side of prop. There should be a mark at 0 deg. And then another advance mark at 22 or 25 deg BTDC. Set #1 cylinder on the compression stroke and line up the advance mark with the top split line in the case halves.

Leave that as is and then adjust both mags so the points are just opening at that setting.

And you also want to turn the prop past the timing marks until you hear the impulse coupling snap then back it up and set your timing.

Thanks for the info I will give it a shot!
