Best prop for heavy boat 540 lycoming

Turning a wispertip 74 inch to 3000 heavy on the angle motors up around 300. What props push better. I can get an 3 blade h from a friend but I read mixed reviews on that prop.

I don't think you would want the h for a heavy boat. I would suggest an NGQ or something wider than an h in a 3 blade configuration.

We have used an NGQ before on a heavy DD cm boat and it worked very well.

I would purchase one again if ever building a AC or DD boat.

I run the NGQ, buddies run Whisper Tip. I love my prop, they love theirs. I would not spend money just to change.
