best wood prop for 4.3v6

Tomcat that's a lot of hull for a 4.3 I would go with a 350 before the 4.3 parts are cheaper and gonna need the extra power. JMO Post some pics of the build along the way :thumbleft:

If it is a 4.3 Vortec direct drive you will get about 150 HP at 2900 rpm. Use a 6838 wood prop. If you add a 2.37 to 1 reduction you can use a 2 blade 74 inch Maximus and it will get the job done.

I got a little bit of motor work done to my 4.3 with gear box and I could spin a 72 48 paddle prop 5000 and still had another 500 rpm left that was on a 11 7 glass hull

i'm running a 4.3 holley 500 carb wood 66x30 on a 12 cottonmouth hull and turning 3000 rpm's runs dry two people .lv it easy on gas to..
