big TX gator

He did get the job done, but, the baited trebble hook seems a might lame to me. Just think how excited he would have been if he was there and throwing a harpoon. Wow, a gator can hold his breath for 15 mins. :lol:
 
It may not be your definition of hunting but it is Texas law. As far as that goes, it is a lot harder to catch one on the hook that size than it is to shoot him. There was a 13'1" gator here that every one has been trying to get for the last several years and they finally got him this season.
 
Da%, I was hoping it was someone that had gotten some equipment from me and would brag about it.LOL I sent alot out there this year. But its too bad they didn't get to work for that big ole boy. Its a shame he went out like that without a fight. I don't think I would've wanted to tangle with him anyway. Congrats to them for such a huge lizard. Thanx for the article. Cajun
