Bigger is always better accept for hulls!
Lately I have been building allot of 383 stroker LS-1’s. I’m assembling two more right now one is a 600HP and the other I will be tweaking on the dyno to see how far I can go HE-HE-HE. Somebody on this board is about to receive a nasty 600 PLUS HP LS-1. I will post my dyno results on the forum because so many people have shown an interest in the STROKER LS-1’s. Another interesting point is I have a customers motor going on a Hammant hull that is very similar to another GSO540 Hammant boat. Hammant wants to weigh both boats complete. The car motor hull is a little heavier but it will be interesting to see the results.
 
Sounds good I have already heard of some one getting one of your engines been getting calls on how to get a hold of you so I've have gave out your # trying to get you more work (he-he-he) as if you don't have any thing to do :lol:
 
Country did you tell them your getting the 300HP smog version. I need to get Crock hooked up with one also, I haven't spoke to him in weeks he is busy as hell also. Haven't heard from him on the board either. Hey Crock you alive I have some parts sitting on the shelf waiting for you.
 
thunder I am still alive look on the front page of the communities section of the paper today yes I have been very busy did you get the manatee shirt while you where playin flipper ?? yes Im gettin ready to upgrade I just need to get by your shop and put the package on paper
 
dave thats exact;y what I was talkin about I was off by about 20 hp but maybe we can make it up on the low end tq. LOL

Are you sure that 141 is qualified for it? (Please don't tell him I said this but...I think something is the matter with his right foot)! Everytime I see him his right foot is pressing awfully hard on the gas!

I don’t know what it is with me but I always seam to end up with the psychopath people who run their stuff really hard an pound on their boats. I built a motor for a retired linemen. Thinking he’s retired and he would be easy on it. Well he airboats everyday and already has over 400 hours on it and he is a nut case who runs wide open everywhere he goes and beats the tar out of his boat. I guess I better put a governor on 141’s and not tell him. HE-HE-HE,
 
GO EASY NOW !!! a governor geez, what friends are for right. I promise I will look into those right foot spasms there has to be a cure for it. I got it 4.95 a gallon yeah that will cure it.
 
I hope to have it done in time for the Dec ride heck that might be maiden voyage. I guess were putting the motor on at my shop so we may just leave from there to ride. How is your boat running CC
 
Thunder what do you think of the Z06 motor whats different about it ??? stock its 505HP and 198 MPH and $65,000
 
Mine is still running good but need to try a new carb still, been busy building boats don't have much time for mine right now. I still need to do the oil pump also. to get rid of the fluctuation on my gauge and thicker oil
 
All the LS1 and ZO6 and LS-7 are the same basic GenIV design. The 2004 Z06 is rated at 405HP I think you may be talking about the new Vette LS-7 motor that is 426 inch’s it’s the same motor design just more stroke and the bores are thinner but pressed in G.M calls this motor the LS7 it has titanium rods and valves with different heads. I read some where the motor alone costs over 40K.
 
That is a third of what I was told to bad you can’t buy them. Also remember you still need the ECU very pricey and It does not include starter, flywheel, alternator, throttle body?, or any electronics. I’m selling a motor that makes 50 more HP for $6,000 less that is designed for an airboat and it comes with everything all the way down to the oil and filter.
 
I have named my new engine .. LIGHTNING by THUNDER. Dave says these things are like one of his children and every child needs a name.

A couple was about to celebrate 50 years together.

Their three kids, all very successful and wealthy, agreed to a Sunday
dinner in honour of their parents. As usual, they were all late and had
varied excuses.

"Happy anniversary, Mom and Dad," gushed son number one. "Sorry, I'm
running late... I just didn't have the time to get you a present."

"No worry," said Dad. "The important thing is that we're all together."

Son number two arrived and announced, "Just flew in from L.A. and didn't
have time to get you anything... I'm sorry."

"It's nothing," said the father, "just glad you could be here today."

The daughter arrived. "Happy anniversary! I'm sorry, but I've been out of
town and didn't bring a present."

Again the father said, "I really don't care, at least the five of us are
together today."

Later, during dinner, the father put down his fork, looked up and said,
"Listen, you three, there's something your mother and I need to tell you.
We came to this country penniless and desperate. Despite this, we were
able to raise you and send you to college. But we never got around to
getting married."

The three kids gasped and said, in unison, "You mean we're BASTARDS?"

"Yep," said the dad. "And cheap ones, too!"
