Thanks Larry for the info.

Olf, I'm very intrigued by this idea. No more carpet to wear out. Do you use a pressure treated board? How does it react with slick bottom? When I was a kid I used parafin wax on my surfboard so that my feet wouldn't slip in the water. I realize that with the weight of the boat it would act more like a lubricant between the bottom and the runners. I like it!!Olf Art":2f0ttg8c said:You can also take a turkey fryer pot or bucket, put 3-4 blocks of paraffin wax in it ...... melt the wax and paint it on the bare wood runners. The runners will last for years, and they're nice and slippery to boot.
I ladle my wax on and then spread it with a wide paint brush. Make sure the runners are dry first.

I was going to put some on my trailer but I had slick bottom at the time and didnt think the 2 would get along (rub my slick bottom off)
Next trailer I will try these plastic boards
