blue lightning belt drive

has anyone heard any news about this drive there is one on a boat in the over $15k. section of the trader but i haven't heard of anyone advetising them.

That drive is the brain child of David Wine of PowerShift, and a couple of others I think. They had intentions of marketing it but I don't know if it ever got off the ground. Suppose to be pretty light (60 lbs or so, I think) That boat is David's personal boat according to Patty's message on the home page of the site.
