well it looks like the new boat is going to be ready for this weekend, anybody going out to play?? We are new to airboats but not new to boating. Would like to team up with anyone for a ride, need help with the do's and don'ts and are anxious to meet some of the people we have been chatting with thanks bill
Are you in Clermont? Sorry if I'm getting you mixed up with someone else. Where are you planning on riding? I'm not asking because I'm going to ride with you, we're still our of the water making repairs.
But once we get back in the water again, Laura and I can meet up with you someplace. We ride a lot out in the St. Johns area north and south of Hwy 50. That's not an unreasonable ride from Clermont - expressway almost the whole way.
Inverness is good riding too - also easy drive from Clermont. I'm not sure how much skinny water is out that way. It eluded us the few times we were there.
First time out - Find some skinny water to play. BE CAREFUL IN THE DEEP STUFF (deep = deeper than the sides of your boat are tall). Remember, NO BRAKES & rudder only works with your foot on the gas.
