Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s are good memories. Louisiana and then Mississippi in 75, you could get boiled peanuts everywhere
In the corner of the store parking lot, or under a shade tree on a wide spot on the highway….. somebody had a pot going
outa the back of a truck.
I’ve been in central Texas awhile (Brazos river) and hadn’t been able to find green peanuts.
My long legged, beautiful Bride of 33 years, was back in Mississippi last week and picked up 2 bushel bags.
Slow, time consuming, but worth it to be able to go to the freezer, grab a bag for “boat food”
I’m doing one pot traditional ( just salt) and the other with a lil Tony’s and crab boil added.
How do Ya’ll like em ?
