I would let the manufacturer of your hull install it with what they typically use. They probably have done it before more than once or twice. I have done it and if memory serves me right it wasn't the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I had alumitech install mine when they built the hull.
I have personaly had both and installed both. In my experiances the rivets hold up best to the abuse we put them threw here in south louisiana. Logs, cypress knees, rocks, sand, etc. all take there toll.
It takes one person in the hull and one outside, one with a small jackhammer and the other with a 5 pound sledge hammer with no handle to hold backup. Then just hammer away one the bottom of the rivet untill it is mushroomed shaped and tight.
saw how they install rivits this weekend and it looks a lot easer than nuts and bolts just makes alot more noise, it took 2 hours to do a the whole hull.
with a sheet and a half.also watched the put the deck on a full deck with rivits looked easy.
my boat has the best of both it has treaded rivets the polamer is acually heldon and removeable buy philips hed screws but the bottom of the boat has no sharp bolts or nuts in it just flush mount rivets i dont recall right off who did it but i can find out if anyony would like
