Brand new JX issues. Right out the package

Bought a new 4 blade JX today. Unpackaged it and found pits in the carbon fiber near the hub end on the blade. 3 out of 4 have little pits/inclusions in them. My question is…. Are they ok that way? Or do I need to send them back and wait another couple of weeks to get them back from Sens. after waiting 9 weeks to get the prop in the first place.

Pick up the phone and call them they have great customer service.

Look more like cosmetic imperfections to me. But I understand.

Def. next on my list. If they don’t email me back on Monday I will be calling. I emailed first so I could get the pictures to them. I totally understand if there cosmetic issues, but it’s a 4K $ prop so I want to make sure before it gets spun and comes apart on my brand new hull lol. If they are good with the spots then I want them to tell me what to fill them with in writing. Just in case

The prop is completely safe, please read over the warranty page in the installation instructions about cosmetic finish. The process used to make this type of part is not like you usual hand laid or vacuum bagged part so many times the surface will have imperfections while the inside of the blades are almost always flawless.
Here is a link to the website if you don't have your instructions. http://www.sensenich.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/V_Prop_inst_instructions-Rev-2019-12-04.pdf
Make sure to only torque the outer 6 clamping bolts to 45 pounds.
Thanks.
