:D what happened to all the hype about racing everyone decide to go cower in the corner cuz the big bad bullet proof boat said lets line em up come on what happened to everyones spirit of adventure and good ole fashion lets do it on the water attitude its a shame that no one wants to race them bullet proof guys got there crap together and no one wants none i say everyone is gettin soft

If I recall the only boat yall r interested in is ground rattler.So when is that going to happen.I am ready to see some racing.I have a fast ride boat ,but no match for the bullet proof boat
 
man i am not only interested in the ground rattler and am not affiliated with the bulletproof team just interested in seeing some races like back in the 90's when it was a lot of fast boats i just wish we could go see some races u know im not trying to piss anyone off i just want it like back in the day when it was fast fun and competitive so anyone who gets mad at me oh well i just want to see a race worth watching i dont care if its a run what u brung or a gallery of go fast i just wan to see it
 
There's a couple of you that are just starting $h!t for the sake of it. Your one of them and there is no need for it.

If there was a sanctioned race with safety personnel and real prize money you would have your damn race, but until then it doesn't seem that there's gonna be one.

The other post about racing got banished because of the crap slinging. Why you want to start it all over?

There are guys with fast boats that would race but what's in it for them? Show them the money Jack and you'd have some racing there too...but those guys wouldn't show without it. For them it isn't just about winning the race its about the ging. And they aint gonna advertise all over the internet either.
 
well you guys you mite see a good sanction race in september the melbourne club is talking about it. i talked to one of the members today and they will let me no when they get things worked out . get them boats tuned ,lou
 
Bud let me know the classes if this happens .I would like to enter a ride boat if they have it.Either way I want to watch some racing thats all.I miss it there was a lot of good times at those races.
 
dbj I agree the s--t talking needs to be at a min ,but there is nothing wrong with wanting to put together a race.It might not be your thing ,but it is a lot of ours.So if its the s--t talking you have a problem with then understand,but dont trash the racing .
 
I'm not trashing the racing. And I'm not against it, but the guys that will race, they are not gonna show because of a dare...

It's just the trash talking I have a prob with. That whole other thread was just ugly.
 
Boy, I don't think these guys are talking $h!t just for the sake of it, if you were at Harney you would know. Fun, safe day, with a lot of good racing! That "banished" thread was one of the most entertaining threads in a long time (IMO), and led to that day at Harney. I also have a hard time believing that its all about money, if you can afford to build an unlimited race boat, you don't need money, it should be about bragging rights. I say for the sake of more racing, sanctioned or not, keep slinging. All of the above is of course just my opinion.

The trash talk has always been a part of racing....I don't see anything wrong with it.
The other thread was a popular thread....I say if you don't like whats in a thread, just don't read it!
 
Somebody (and a lot of them) likes to here the "internet rambo's. What do you think brought the over 200 boats to Harney? If I'm not mistaking, the "banished" thread referred to above, was the most read thread ever. I can't think of a form of racing worth watching or participating in, that isn't made better by gamemanship (trash talking). Don't you watch Pinks? Keep slinging, been fun watching the races and the threads! Remember, JMO, not trying to offend.
 
that old thread was absolutely entertaining. it started bout the tome i joined this site and it was fun to come home and find out who was badder than who that day, kinda reminds me of my truck drivers and their cb ass whoopings they hand out going down the road.
trash talking is a big part of getting a race going(fordvs.chevy) then the money came second. and any racing i have ever been around if all you came for was to win money you wouldnt last long cause the purses wont support a racing habit.
