Broken stringer. Repair or replace?

Replacing one rotten stringer on starboard side and have one middle stringer broken Can broken stringer be patched or additional stringer added beside?

If the stringer is broken there must be a reason. Problem I see with fixing something is, did water get into the stringer and wick farther. If your into it might as well go all the way and fix it right.

if you in for an ounce your in for a pound. Cut out the old stringers, level the hull and glass in all new stringers stem to stern.

That's a subject for a pro hull builder but I'll add my half cent wheat copper.
I've seen a few and one with part of a carbon prop blade embedded in it. Carbon cuts glass like butter especially at speed but getting off subject.
Yeah, it's better to replace the stringer entirely and re-glass if your able? Sounds like it's a question of your options to your health and all around you if a patch fails?
New glass hulls are what now, high 3's and your debating a potential fix vs massive medical bills over a new hull? Assuming your asking for fiberglass advice to a mount stringer?
A half cent wheat penny is worth more now than when it was stamped but it won't float either!
If your opted to skag a stinger along side, please put something on this hull to notify others of "home built junk beware"

The consensus is patching stringers is the wrong way to proceed.

I think anyone on here with experience will tell you to remove the old stringers, grind shit down and glass in new stringers.

Gary offered up something to think on and WhiteBear spelled out how to proceed.

If you can't do it your self reach out there are guys on here who do side work.

Thanks for the input! Don't intend on selling my boat so disclaimer won't be nessisary. I bought the boat in Florida and found rotten stringer after maiden voyage which was my first time to ride in an airboat. I broke middle stringer and bottom of hull when I ran into a patch of stumps. Rode several hours after that and now have made repairs. Waiting on new poly to arrive and would like to know about attaching poly. Screws or bolts for glass hull?

Well interior of hull is done and addressing bottom now. Found hull has slight cup in center so maybe need jacks. Do I push on stringers or between. Any pictures of your jacks would be appreciated Thanks
