Bud's Motor is Painted "PICTURES"

Well as you can see the hard part is over. It is original as it was. Lycoming gray with black and silver cylinders. I changed out all of the attaching bolts and nuts with grade 5 zinc bolts and stainless nuts. I also decided to change all of the cylinder attaching nuts with fresh gold cadium plated nuts. There are still a few nuts and bolts I still have to change. I still have to look at the mags, and replace the points at the least. I will paint the mags gloss black. The push rod housings will be polished aluminum and the valve covers will have a fresh coat of chrome with gold cad plated factory screws. I hope I am not getting carried away with it. But the pictures of bud on the airboat last week got me fired up about the motor. Here it was.
