Had a fellow contact me that needed bangsticks that they could use and strap to either hisself or his scuba gear. His job requires him and others to dive in fresh water and brackish water. After making sure they conformed to ATF Rules and Laws, this is what they looked like. They are 1/4" over the legal length. Thought I would post a couple of pics for ya'll. They had to have 26 1/2" continuous firing pin length, which means the firing pin part has to be permentaly mounted (welded) to be legal. These are approx. 30" in total length. They chose gator blue for their powder coating color.Later, Cajun

Cajun that is really some professional looking stuff. Do you put the knurling on there too?

Yep, every detail. Its nothing but blank stock when I get it. Quite a bit of time involved with it. I have 2 lathes, 3 mills and 3 drill press's, also have a small shear, a large brake , 2 arbor press's, and a another thing I forgot what its called. If-n something happens to me, I'm sure the wife has no idea whats been spent on this stuff and will probably give it away. But yea it takes alot of time and equipment to deal with stainless steel. Some of my insert bits the size of my finger nail cost close to $25.00 each, and one little hiccup and its shot. Stainless is not very forgiving. Just ordered another knurling tool, hopefully it will be alittle faster than the ones I have now. Thanx,Later, Cajun

Walk softly and carry a big stick.

Do you have to follow ATF rules like a firearm manufacture? And do you have to do a

background check when you sell those?

When they are built to the right specs, ( ATF ) there is no waiting period. They are sold as a tool but do fall under firearms regs. as far as possessing one. As long as they are used as a tool and sold as a tool, theres no background checks. I use to have the regs. on file somewhere but I'm not sure where they are right now. I have a few offshore fishing guys that keep one on board for sharks (large ones) and if they go diving . Later, Cajun
