ASC539521 Piston can be used to bump compression and horsepower

I saw another post that wanted to know about this , I am new to the site
I am am an A&P IA and build experimental aircraft engines
I also have a 337 for putting C-85 0-200 jugs on A-65 cases but you dont need it for airboats
Divco cuts the bore for the jugs
so long from Baldy in No az went to high school in Venice Fla class of 65

They've been putting C-85 pistons in C-90 O-200/300, PE-60s for many years in the airboat community, makes quite a bit of difference in power as 87/93 octane aviation fuel was phased out and all that was available is 100ll so the higher compression ratio got it closer to the quench zone.
Being that you are experimental status, I would venture a bit farther, get in touch with Diamond or Ross piston manufacturers and have a set of forged 10:1 pistons made, this will utilize all of the btu of the 100ll.
With steel barrel cylinders you can go with Total seal gapless rings for added performance, the options are out there.
