Cadillac Engines

the guy said it was out of a 69 caddy, so unless it was swapped it is a 472 un-notched block with the smaller oil gallies. i am a member of cadillac power and it is a great caddy resourse above all other caddy sites.
 
If its a 1969, its not a 500 but rather a 472. No 500's until 1970-76. Plus it would have the smaller oiling passages that the early blocks had which was changed by GM for a reason. If you put a 500 crank and pistons in it, you would have to notch the cylinder walls at the bottom due to the increased stroke. But at 1 cent, its a steal...LOL. Charles
