I believe the torque was some where in the neighborhood of 500ft/lbs.
you can do a google search and come up with several performance sites with good info. I had it saved in my fav's but I guess I deleted it or I would have passed it along.
 
Interesting links. Lots of difference between 1970 eldorado and 1975 deville according to the one link and then cad parts dispelled that myth. I am still not sure what the hp is of my motor is (1975-500), I will keep looking. Thanks alot for your help.

hey bowfishingmike the horsepower on the cads do not verry that much it is just the way they used to measure horsepower in the early years was different than how they measure horsepower now.the dyno results that courtney hines put on his site are hard to dispute an honest 320 to maybe 340 horse bone stock.the high compression did not add to drastic of a horsepower increase.torque curves varied more in the engines than horsepower did do to the cadillacs many different cam grinds they tried.one thing in common there grinds shared was they were all cut with no advance in them.
