calculators for our hobby

As Some of you know, I am a programmer. What I am wanting to do is make scripts for the most commonly used formulas used in our hobby. The scripts will allow inputs and will calculate the answer for you using the inputs needed for each formula.

I've seen many useful formulas in my searches but failed to save them. You know, the "hindsight" deal. One I am interesed in that I have seen is the amount of hull under water/waterline and the horsepower to get it moving. I would also change HP to thrust in this instance.
I'd also like to find one on thrust vs mass, how much thrust it takes to move a certain weight. If there are any other formulas you would like to see made into a calculator post them up. My plan os to make the and supply a place where they can all be found together.

Great idea Papee

I don't have any of those formulas but I use plain ole Excell to do my SatCom formulas. The nice thing about Exell is you can create and modify formulas as you chose. It also doesn't require any programming skills for those who might want to do something similar for themselves.

Great Idea, I may try to get some of the more common formulas that apply to airboats in my setup. I am definately not a programmer, but I am one hell of a kibutzer. Grinn
