I do needlepoint but that's a lot to put on a canvas!
I"ll have Dustin look into a plaque or maybe it would look nice on parchment that 's mounted on a piece of cypress? It could be printed on the parchment and then the parchment made to look "old" and then put on an oval piece of cypress?

can't believe we can't find a piece of cypress down here if you tell us the finished size...if nothing else, there are places in N. Fla. that sell slabs of it in all shapes and sizes....

We don't have alot of Cedar here either.... lots of Maple, and Cherry, but not a southern kind of wood... and we were NOT men bashing.... but if you want to take that way, then maybe you did something that needs bashing Bondsman!

Nope Bondo its just you and me.... Bondsman's just trying to get me going... last I knew he wasn't a southern airboat LADY.... but who knows. maybe things have changed since I was in FL last...lol ... anyway... if you wanted to look for a slab of cypress that would be fantastic... I can finish it up here... thats not a problem... size wise I think a piece that would fit an entire 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper on it would probably work the best... I can work magic on the paper to make it look old... maybe burn the corners off or something and tea stain the rest... otherwise I'll dig out my airbrush and make it work one way or another....

I think the lettering should be a deep green or maybe a gray-green something "outdoorsy and swamp looking" I would n't go to a green that looks black, i'd keep it a discernable (do you know that word?) green
