Camp Mack to Islamorada

Several hardcore airboaters and myself were discussing a trip starting at Camp Mack and ending up in Islamorada for the start of lobster mini season. More details to follow....
 
jd i didnt remember that conversation till i just read it ,do ya think it could have been the beverage that makes you smarter , although i know frank would do it, ah hell lets make it happen it would be one for the record books who knows it could be a great charity event sort of a airboatathon we could get pledges !!
 
Plum that discussion took place early in the day before the beverage effect. Frank is figuring up stops along the way and the exact route to take. I'm looking forward to it, or at least the attempt to do it.
 
ive did a google on the route very doable the only hairy spot is a 40 mile run across biscayne bay and card sound im thinking first light and a dead run the three of us have been preoccupied with bussiness an work recently but i for one really want to take this trip ive been working the bugs out of the fox and think shes up for the trip the three of us did take a 80mile run down the peace river to charlotte harbor in some nasty conditions and did just fine althouth got some pretty strange looks and comments from all the sea faring types we ran in to including a law dog or two they coulnt figure how to come along side to check us out
 
im afraid you would re gret that invitation we will be pretty dry or just gitin wound up for some serious beer drinkin heck rick go with us the main reason for the trip is the destination ice cold brew bugs on the barbie and a islemorada sunset at the tekki bar it dont get no better than that and just think all in a airboat 8)
