these were designed for aircraft target drones, usually by Hercules, Teledyne and others. They ended up used by Army as auxillary power units for water pumps, electric generators, hydraulic pumps etc. There are web-sites on yahoo-groups for using these engines on experimental aircraft, air-boats, hovercraft, etc. Look kind of like a VW aircooled engine ( flat 4 cyl, opposed pairs)but with milatary or aircraft things like magnetos single carbruator and long duty cycles. My small air-boat plan never worked out so i'm selling other boat stuff, too. I guess they are about 84 cu. inch, and weigh about 120 lbs. Complete, but need some oiling up after sitting these couple of years. All repair parts are available through Saturn Supply.com. George at 727 - 938 - 3396.

Colemans has something like what you are talking about.... little 32 c.i.d. 4 cyl motors.

But they are selling them for $500 new/unused.

That's either a really good deal at $50 or something different.

BTW - bookmark Colemans of you don't already shop there..... lots of good stuff.

and here: (looks like a regular cont GPU for $3k - the 10KW unit)
