Carb conversion

I have a 470 Continental in my airboat with a Marvel carb. My nephew has basically the same setup as I do, but he has a Holley automotive carb. His performance and responsiveness is unbelievably better than mine. I would like to convert to the same setup that he has. I am looking for suggestions as to how to do this, finding parts, etc... Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
 
In the not too distant future I will be building an intake for a friends O520, I can build 2 at the same time if you like.
