Carb install question

I got an overhauled ma-4-5 from aircraft spruce. I was excited and slapped it on hooked up the fuel and turned it over, it started and ran one time. Then I turned it off and can’t get it to start again. Could I have trapped air somewhere in the fuel system? Are there any procedures to follow after bolting it up and reconnecting the fuel line and throttle?

First guess is you flooded the engine on the restart with too much throttle pumping. Let it sit overnight and try again in the morning. If you have to know now, pull lean out to full lean, hold throttle wide open and crank until it starts then push lean out to full rich.

Possible but unlikely that the (new carb) float is set too high or the (old) fuel pump pressure is too high.

If all else fails, pull a plug or two to see if they are wet with fuel.

Went to start it again this morning. Does not sound like fuel is making it into the cylinders. It looks like a fine mist of fuel is coming out of these two little holes at the bottom of the carb. It was hard for me to tell because I was doing it by myself before work.
