CERT - Community Emergency Response Team basic training is scheduled to
begin March 13th. CERT Basic Training is FREE and open to the public or to
any one who may be interested.
CERT is a program that trains people to be prepared for emergency situations
in their community and neighborhood. CERT members give critical support to
first responders in emergencies, provide immediate assistance to victims,
collect disaster information to support first responder's efforts and
provide that first neighborhood help in the immediate hours following a
disaster.
Units #1-8 will be held at the Suwannee County EOC and conducted from
1800hrs - 2200hrs (6:00pm - 10:00pm) Map included at the end of the email
EOC & F/R Station 1 is the location of class (labeled in red).
Registration for class is required so we may have the appropriate number of
materials. If you have any questions, would like more information or are
interested please call 364-3405 and speak to Sharon or Kimberly.
