This year we are hosting a big alligator hunting contest, the "CFTH Big Gator Shootout". Please see the flyer below. We think this will be a truly unique and exiting event. We have had a great response from hunters and sponsors, and expect this to be a huge success. Currently the prizes are 35% payout for first, 15% payout for second, a Sensenich Adjustable Prop for third, a Horton Crossbow package for fourth, and fifth is still TBD. The awards ceremony will be held at Loughman Lake Lodge on Nov. 17th at 11AM and is open to everyone. All participants in the contest will receive a T-Shirt, 1 meal ticket for a BBQ lunch and entry for the door prizes. Some of you have asked about where to get the gators measured. Updated the site with the locations for getting the gators measured. We may add a few as it gets closer but so far this is what we have.
 
It is already in the rules as well as in the form when measured for both the measurer and the person with the gator. It is a shame it has to be that way but it is a must.

We will not be an official measuring location due to possible conflict of interest issues. However, I spoke with Dan from Camp Holly and they will be measuring. Thanks for signing up and good luck.

Yes, I will be taking registrations at all of the FWC Training and Orientations across the state.
 
For those that have asked I have updated the Measurement Locations and it should be on the website this weekend. Also we updated the flyer. If you notice all prizes are listed and 1st- 5th will also recieve a spray in bed liner.

We picked up Backcountry designs as a sponsor and have added a few measuring sites.

Preston Sloan will be measuring in Deland, and Brian Woods has another location down south. I will post numbers and exact locations later today.
Also just a reminder all forms need to be to me by Aug. 15 before season opens.
