I can't use the chat from home, still got dialup.
a couple times I was able to use the computer while visiting my mom, and it seemed OK.
I ain't real up for chatting online, I don't think you'll find me on myspace, but we're talkin' airboats here

Speaking of myspace...there are surprisingly quite a few airboat videos there..about 8 pages I think. Just search "airboat".
Graywolf's ride throught he glades is there, and a few more that I've seen on here. There's some good race footage as well.
I have a Myspace page..it's not all that hard...here's the link.

There is one myspace page called CowboyMafia (out of Spring Hill, FL) where he came here onto southern Airboat as Bigeduno and copied a bunch of photos & videos.
That's cool, but he posted a bunch of them up there leading folks to believe he took them or they were photos of his boat. One is a photo of my wife and Faron's wife in Faron's boat on top of the Ridge on lake Kissimmee, and the caption says it's him "chillin".
And that sort of low-life mentality just about sums up my opinion of "mySpace".
I even asked him to remove the photos that I took, and he blocked me from further viewing of his page - AND LEFT THE PHOTOS THERE.
Southern Airboat is NOTHING like a redneck mySpace. MySpace is a redneck mySpace!!!! LOL This site is MILES beyond what that place could ever hope to be.

Yeah, there are some real losers there but if I use somebody elses pictures I give them credit in the caption.

I hope not to offend anyone buy I was on my space once and this ain't nothing like it. This site is awesome and covey's ton's of valuable information. My space I think is more of a gossip service. I'm sorry, if I ain't learning or doing something I'm not interested. I better state in my attention span is a nano second long when I'm bored!

I ain't trying to defend it but I think they are completely different and shouldn't even be compared....
I mainly use the other as a way to reconnect with old friends whom I've lost touch with. It works pretty well for that and since I suck at mailing cards and letters, it's easy to stay in touch and all.
This site however is way more personal and useful in my opinion. Simply because everyone here is basically here for the same reason if nothing else. It is the place to come for info and help onthe web with regards to airboats. Period. I wouldn't say Myspace is the place to go for anything special other than wierd videos and maybe friends.
