Rick, looking at the turtle you caught brings back old memories of when your dad and Boxcar came to the Grasshopper shop one afternoon, motioned for me to come out to the car.Opened the trunk, and there was a turtle in there as big as a wash tub!! Seems I remember you were there (about waist high) and if I'm not mistaken your brother was there as well.Biggest turtle I had ever seen.Good to see some of that ole time doings has been inherited.Country boys will survive!! Hope to run into you one day while airboating. Thanks for the picture!! Paul Dixon

Thanks Paul - Those ole time doings did rub off on me & I did my best to rub them off on my kids & now I'm rubbing them off on my grandkids. Who knows, maybe some day when I can't get out, they'll still put a good ole plate of fried cooter in front of me.

Speaking of influence, I wished I'd had this little digital movie camera with me the day that you climbed that hill by the front door of the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp back in the late 60's. I still think of that every time we go there.

Great to hear from you and look forward to seeing you someday soon.

Rick
