What is the best & EASIEST way to clean a Aluminum Hull. I have a Pressure Washer, but pressure alone is not getting it done. It is nothing bad, just water marks, and things like that.

I am cleaning & putting away all my Duck hunting equipment, and thought that I might do a little cleaning on the hull. Is there anything that I can apply through my pressure washer or mop on and wash off that will cut the grung or slug (Dull Look) on my hull. It is mainly the water line and below. cooter

BTW: I didn't get the boat in enough time to get any scouting done, but what few times I did get to take it, sure makes me look forward to next year... 8)

Stop by our shop if your in the area. Get some Aluminum Etching Solution. We can walk you through how to do it. Take you about 15 to 20 min and the aluminum will look like new. Easiest way to do it is with a sprayer or a mop and then rinse it off with a hose and presto, It will look awesome.

Alumabrite (R) is quick and easy but once used the hull will get grungy much faster. Many use mothers and a high speed buffer after Alumabriting the hull. This should bring back that mirrir finish it had wehn it was new.

I have an old hull I'm working on and will eventually clean her up like I described above but it isnt going to be immediate.

Some folks use chlorine bleach too. Be sure to wrense well.

Hope this helps
