Man  He was grumpy enough bouncing in the airboat! With no shocks on that ride, for get it

Well i wqas tryin to keep it quiet basket, I have ordered the upgraded birdseye maple rear forks to go with the african bloodwood front brake calipers. I also have been looking into a life time warranty from the orkin man but they are being slow to respond. I may have to scrap the whole thing after the first swarm of drywood termites or after a few crashes in the dirt where the subterranean Termites can get into it.

Actually we are bending the hoops on thursday for the cage, we are using a roller thing of some kind. i am tryin to be a little more careful on this one after some of the breaks on the last one. I am gettin too darn old for that much excitement anymore.

But if it doesn't work out I can still ride the cypress cycle anyways LOL

yeah fraid so basket, i got scared of overpowering it and the orkin man refused the termite warranty ... so whats a guy to do. I beleive the 26.5 hp airboat will be much better anyways. We got all the hoops bent , the engine mockup is in the stand the gas tank is in place, the battery box supports are in place but my welder is going on vacation for a week to the keys so it will be put off for awhile. I had some issues with the last engine stand and seat stand that are being resolved on this one, i am building it to handle a serious big block just in case the 26.5 hp is not enough to git r dun you know. I am incorporating 1.50 hp of nitrous for emergencies but really hate to depend on that to get me out of trouble.

I am going to a three man seat top and bottom this time Stan and I look funny ridin around in the little two man seat, I have no idea who decided they would hold two men, unless it was the chinese. I am rigging a portable frog cooler with frog chutes built in one on each end of it so i can keep the blood down that gets on the deck where the air mattress will go. The 5000 btu airconditioner bracket is still in the design stage as well as the generator mount bracket but we pretty well got the gas cooker set however the bbq grill is being a bugger but we will triumph. I am working on a speaker system and booster for the stereo system and possibly may put me some basket style lights in the rake for froggin the thick grass with the generator or maybe 12volt halogens will work. there is a lot left to do but it should be sweet when done and it will cost enough that I probably don't hav4e to worry about anyone wanting to buy it from me anytime soon.

But as a side line if anyone wants a family ride boat that will git r dun i will be selling another boat that is being designed it will be like my last one but it will come with a new and improved exhaust system that should be even quieter than spinnin money was and the engine will be a more generic type but still adequate. I am getting my boat dealers lisc. if all goes well and stan and I should be selling stuff pretty soon for airboats and selling some used but modified airboats which will be brought up to our standards of performance nimble but safe family ride boats.

Ok there you go thats the update a sof now anyways all work is stopped for a week see ya'll at orange lake i will be on SOUTHERN STYLE with stan and cheryl if all goes as planned I was bringing my motor home but will be in my pickup camper because the generator in the motor home has a carb problem and I am out of time to fix it. Now if I can just remember where it is stan reserved our sites at LOL

Cntry,

Sounds awesome :salute: Actually sounds like a candidate for ABW's "The ultimate airboat" to me!
Also cool to hear the "generic boat" idea. Now if ya'll can just build a less expensive CR
