Commentary: Gator hunts pale after stint in storm rescue

This is the time of the year Scott Sprague would be taking tourists on gator hunts or booking Everglades sightseeing trips for his Loxahatchee airboat company.
But Sprague, 46, and his 22-year-old son, Corey, have been in another world lately: deputized and armed, piloting their three airboats through the flooded streets of New Orleans on the search-and-rescue mission of their lives....
