Compression Check

I'm new to this forum and new to airboats. Could someone please tell me what I should expect to have when I do a compression check on a Continental O470 (GPU)
Thanks in advance

You should expect low readings if the cylinders haven't been rebuilt. You want to see the mid to high 70's over 80 on the differential compression. Less than 70's is usually bad rings or pitted cylinder walls on the 220 GPU.
