cost of recodintioning a wooden prop

I am just about done on my new boat but money is getting scarce I was wondering how much it generally runs to recodition a wooden prop. I got a couple quotes on a new prop and it looks like its going to cost me a little under 600 clams and was wondering if its even worth it sending my old prop off. I figure it depends on the condition of the prop and I think my prop looks pretty good as far as the wood goes just looks like it needs new metal and varnish.

Check on airboat trader under dealers specials, Diamondback is having a cleaning out attic sale on some wood props, good prices!

those props are all too big.. I am looking for a 66 36 or a 68 34.
