Crappy day at lake.

Decided to take the ol' airboat to the lake today. rode for a good 1 1/2 and called a buddy to take him riding. We wernt on the boat for 5 minutes before the rigging under the rudder broke and let it fall out of the top mount. Whats even better is when it happens at full speed and you get that "Where'd my steering go." feeling. I guess its ok though. this was going to be my last ride for a while due to leaky headgaskets, but i'd like to of gotten another hour or so out of it. Speaking of heads. Any special procedures i should ask for when i get them tested/worked on? Its a 1988 305. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hex, Sorry to hear that, Man that sucks! At least it did'nt go into the prop that would have been real bad. Hope your new prop gets there soon!!......Post pic's when it does!

Will do georgia dawg. It should be here late monday or tuesday. Hopefully I'll be runnin that new prop in a week or two.
