whats everyone using on top of there deck over for a non skid coating, redoing boat, cant decide, most things I see will tear up bare feet, thanks,Lee

I used regular latex deck paint that came with a little sand in it. I probably got it at Wal Mart and it's held up a couple of years now.

I have a buddy that sprays hightech bed liner material. He has done a lot of boats and buggies. He is completely mobile ( he will come to you) He is out of loxahatchee.
PM me if you want his name and number.

Igower,
The way we do it at the shop is to start with taping off the area does not get non-skidded, sand (grind) the area to be non-skidded then clean it with acetone, then we apply a self etching primer using a household paint roller (thin coat) after the primer dries apply an even thin coat of paint, color of choice, using a paint roller (we use acryllic enamel) sprinke play sand (local hardware store) using a cup. After it's covered blow off excess sand and apply a top coat of paint. Let it sit about 15-20 minutes and then pull tape before it dries all the way. Good luck, I hope this helps you, let me know if you have any questions.
