1. Don't forget the Quiet Airboat Demonstration on May 20, 2006. Jim Brown from the Lake County Airboat Association in working on this. There will be registration forms for all participating. Those who are participating need to be wearing their PFD's, all safety equipment, as well as all vessel registration.
2. There needs to be one PR spokesman from each member organization.
3. Talk of maybe ordering PFD's through a club and selling them to members. KRVSA did this a couple of years ago and it was successful.
4. Crab trap clean up on the East Coast-Volusia County Environmental Management: Georgia Zern 386-736-5927x2839. In the Mosquito Lagoon. They get all the paperwork together and this is one time you can go out and help clean up the traps and if there are any complaints they are not on your back. They are on the people in charge. This is a good thing to get involved in.
5. Those of you who ride the St. Johns into Lake Washington need to hear this. There is a bypass around the Dam or the Weir from Lake Washington into the St. Johns. They are asking all to please use the airboat ramp that is available and do not use the bypass. They are going to be blocking that off because it is causing the water table to go down. They will be working on a ramp for the power boats and bass boats and everything should be completed sometime in October.

7. FAA needs a delegate for FWF. They have bimonthly meetings all over the state.
8. Working on getting canoes and kayaks to have to register the boats or vessels. They are using our resources like helicoptor rescues and such. If there is any kind of meeting about this in your area please show up and represent.
9. Anti-discrimination clause was pulled but they are trying their hardest to get it put back in.
I missed some of the legislation part, had to leave a little early due to prior commitments. If you have any questions please feel free to PM or email me.
