I see some of the folks on here have videos posted on youtube up to 6 min. I wondering what kind of camera everybody is using ? I'm looking for a new digital camera that can shoot a video longer than 1 min. But is not giant and bulky ? I do not want to buy a video camera and a new digital. I want my cake and eat it too........ :D

I have a ( i633 ) Polaroid 6.0 Mega Pix Digital camera from Wal-mart for 100$. I've done video up to 15 minutes. Good Luck

i buoght mine at target digital dvd recorder for mini disc with night vision and all acc for for 450. and its good one by sony.

Kodak easy share models that are shaped like a regular 35mm. Mine has a 10x optical zoom and shoots as long a video as your sd card can handle. try to get an image stabilzer model. I use it to shoot my amature hunt vids, Daves Outdoor Xperience, and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Raizinecane , How big of card to you have ? Do you have anything posted on youtube ?

CULTURED REDNECK ,

That looks cool , How do you like it ? How long a video can it record ? That would be cool to take on my sheep hunts up here

Thanks Alaska

SO FAR, SO GOOD. I CAN SHOOT AN HOURS WORTH OF VIDEO ON THE 2GIG MAMORY CARD THAT IS IN IT NOW, JUST SLIP IN ANOTHER CARD FOR ANOTHER HOURS WORTH. IF YOU LOOK AT MY SPACE, I PUT THE FIRST DUCK HUNT VIDEO I SHOT OVER THERE. I NEED TO DEDICATE SOME TIME TO FILM SOME SHOOTING AND RETRIEVING WITH IT. ITS NOT AS EASY AS IT SEEMS. I LIKE TO SHOOT THE GUN MORE THAN THE VIDEO. I HAVE VERY LITTLE SELF DISCIPLINE. I PLAN ON MAKING SOME AIRBOAT VIDEOS IN THE FUTURE ALSO...BY THE WAY, I TOOK MY GRANDFATHER SALMON FISHING ON THE GULKANA RIVER BACK IN AUGUST. WOW, WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD IN ALASKA! WE LOVED IT SO MUCH, WERE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR FOR THE SALMON RUN.

I've had really good luck with my sony cybershot. if you go sony just make sure it says MPEGMOVIE VX on it. it shoots pretty good video. i got a 7.2 megapixel from walmart for $200. they have the same ones w/out the movie program for $150. so be careful when you go to buy. and like everyone else said, it depends on how big of card you got for length of video. the only thing i don't like is you can't zoom after you press record.
