Thanks, yet to see that hull float and run a sbc w over 400hp and a lot of torque...but i'd love to have them prove me wrong

Rich , have them build you a 14' x 7' 4" with a 10" transom .

13x7'2 with 8" sides is about as small as you will want to go for that set-up, especially if you're talking iron block. 9" sides would probably be even better. Problem is specific hull sizes like that are hard to come by used.
