Duck Decoy Storage/Transport

Hi all, currently running a 16x7 air gator and hunt the gulf coast of TX. I'm looking for ideas on ways to store decoys in the boat while running to and from spots. I have always hung my strings of decoys (TX rigged) on the cage but just want to see if y'all have any other ideas besides just laying them down in the floor. Thanks for any input!

i have tried keeping them in decoy bags, the upright round ones and just tossed in the layout boat. Went back to hanging them off the cage. I guess it could block some air but so far its not stopped me from doing anything, 5doz is pretty easy to hang just got to make sure they cant get around the back of the cage :)

The link above is a video of my set up. I have a Utah/Alaska style boat. I have two diff length of texas rigs. So the 48' diver strings I hang so they almost sit on the floor of the boat since I have a deep bottom. I never see air as an issue even with the 4-5 dozen decoys and my bimini top up. For mallard decoys or some additional puddle duck decoys I use a large mesh bag and throw it on the front of my boat.
on occasion we use layout boats like Aeon has posted in his pic. I will throw large bags of decoys in that center hole of the layout boat.
Because of the style of boat we actually turn the layout boat sideways across the front.

Great looking rig. If you find yourself in Utah, come hop in for a hunt.

Love hunting Utah, for a short while I hunted up there a lot, near bear river at a club and goose hunted a place called the square. Early 1990's

Be fun to come up and go slide in the summer, I'm just 11hrs away @Pato Sicario
