duh ???

Found a sharp boat on airboat trader in Hernando at Mitchell Marine. It's an 05 Diamondback hull with 472 straight drive. Rigging was done by Mitchell Marine.

Anyone have any info on MItchell or their boats?. I'm in Ga. It's a long drive. Any feedback would be appreicated.

Harvey, I don't know anything about Mitchell Marine and I'm not trying to talk you out of buying their boat, but it seems like a lot of money for a direct drive.

If you're still looking around and would like to talk to someone a little closer to home, try Paul Dixon in Bainbridge, GA? Rick, Thanks for your imput. Actually I tried to call Paul all last week--- I kept getting a recording to check the #. Maybe the phones are just messed up. I've met him and seen his boats--- I was impressed.

The Mitchell boat was aluminum with stainless rigging. Had polymer , nice grass rake , alum. trailer. The eng was a rebuilt caddy with warranty.

I've only seen Dixon's boats in fiberglass and none with any stainless---but they were a work of art.
