Hey guys! I'm coming to you from the airplane world and have found that some of you are powered by the same great Continental E series engine we have in our early Beechcraft Bonanzas! I have great news for you!
Peck's Custom Gaskets by McPeck Aviation is proud to offer complete engine gasket kits in fiberglass reinforced silicone AMS3320 in OEM .032" thickness. Old paper gaskets take on oil, heat, cure and then crack. Reinforced silicone can not be impregnated with oil eliminating this problem. This material mounts on a clean surface which eliminates scraping saving a lot of time and reduces the risk of damaging the mating surface.
Because the material is reinforced it will not extrude or squish like regular silicone gaskets. The reinforcement allows for torque to be maintained cutting leaks. It would also be reusable. If you were to ever have to remove an accessory for any reason you no longer need to replace the gasket.
